Great firmware, thanks a lot :-)

Finally, I have sshd server connection from inside&outside with tunnels. I only had to change the port in sshd config (here is some other default sshd on 22 which I cannot remove, how ?). I have also generated key pairs by ssh-keygen. For setting up, I recommend to set error loging to file and see what happens.

Is there any way how to configure VLANs and ethernet switch on Drake firmware hack?
I would like to use the WL-600g router as ethernet router instead ADSL modem.
I can't use openwrt firmware by reason of poor signal on wifi interface with openwrt firmware.

It is rather detailed, and I suppose it's qite enough for the beginning. Using this manual you can get everything working, but without any advanced customization.

@Andrew: Sorry, no way to get JFFS and nvflash support. Asus firmware does not support it. This mod is unmaintained by me... :D

@Igor: Please try using older hd disk images. I know that they work. FYI: every program port need to be compiled with the right options enabled for large file support.

Good day.
I've updated my WL-600g with this firmware (AnnexA with NARS) and installed software from ftp://78.25.8.242/wl600/wl600_hd_0603.tar.gz
Generally everything works Ok, but I have some troubles.
The mos disturbing is that I can't work with files larger than 2 GB using samba. I connect to the network drive and can't even see them. When i connect to the drive using FTP everything's ok, the files are present. There are no problems with other files. When the drive was connected to the PC USB i was able to move/copy those files. The filesystem on the drive is Ext3.
Also I wasn't able to find any way to specify folder for each torrent in transmission or yodctcs clients.
Could anyone help me with solving these problems or advice anything.
Thanks in advance.

Hello again, I am trying to find some step by step manual how to prepare and connect HDD or flash to WL-600g with Drakes firmware. I have only find some bits and peaces but not the beginning.
My questions:
1) Which HDD is current.
2) How to get root password to my WL-600g (find somewhere that I need it) in telnet I can only log as admin and I see only stupid menu and list of a few unimportant linux commands.
3) How to create the flash disk with HDD software? formating as ext3 and copying the files do not work.
4) I know that these are probably questions that are there somewhere so concreate links are good for me.

I promisse that when I make it work I will do step by step manual with screenshots for newbies like me and I will put it there so nobody will have to bother again.

Thank you in advance for your help.
